1. The main character in the story is Elisa Allen who loves planting Chrysanthemums in his garden. She is brave woman he tried to struggling the women Right in America at the time. I like that.

1. The main character of this story is the narrator (son). From the story he presents, we know that is a gloomy man who always sees the darker side in life. He blames on his childhood days spent on the chicken farm instead of happy, joyful days of life. I like character in this story, he tried to show how struggle in our life.
2. This story happen from a chicken farm in the country to restaurant across the railroad station in Bid well Ohio. Both settings reflect the same internal of the characters; the son is not happy on the chicken farm; the family decides to move because they are unsuccessful, a gloomy looking place in the restaurant.
3. This short story “The egg” illustrates the harsh realities of life. The father who cannot reach succeed because of his internal ambition. His family’s life is compared to the egg which cannot stand up without breaking its shell.

1. The characters in the story is Shirley Adams is Neddy’ s former mistress. When Neddy arrive at her home, she is shocked by his presence and warns him that she will not him any money. She is with a younger man. I don’t like character in this story, because it doesn’t develop, it is monotone character.

The story happen in the affluent suburbs of Westechester County, New York, and focuses on Neddy Merril, who sespite being Middle-aged, wants to retain his youth and believes that he is vibrant individual. I don’t like setting in this story, although it just use one setting, I feel confuse after read it.

1. The character of the story is about woman she is Mrs. Grimes. She always accompanied by her dogs. She sells some eggs or even beg in grocer and some shops to get some supplies that she will bring to their house. I like the character in this story, it teaches us that we must survival in our life whatever happen, we don’t give up to our life we should struggle.
2. The story happen in a town of the Middle West. I like this setting, it easy to understand.
3. The story tells us about a good things. As a human we don’t give up when we get a problem, we must survival in our life.
4. The story is reasonable and the style of the story is story communicative figurative, it is using many figurative language to show the message.
5. The important event in this story is when Mrs. Grimes’s death. According the narrator, when she died, her face buried by the snow but she looked like a beautiful young girl. She did not look old. She was lying frozen in the snow. It show to us that someone with her kindliness will always remember by the other; although, she was died

I think the character of the grandmother is good woman. She has good character, because she is very love her family especially her grandchild. She always share her experince with them and play together everytime. Moreover, she tried to relize The Misfit from his mistake and relize it. So that he can be a good man like ago because she believe with the Missfit. Although all people considered him a criminal but she alawys tried to make him realize.

The story happen in Tennessee. I lke this setting because according to story, there are very interesting view of the scienery stone mountain, the blue granite in some places came up to both sides of the highway; the briliant red clay bank slightly streaked with the purple; and the various crops that made rows of the green lack on the ground. The trees were full of silver white sun lights and the neanest of them sparkled.

The story tell about good things. Because in this story, grandmother invited the Missfit and admit all of his mistaken. And forget it to start new life, so he can be agood man like that she believe.

The story is reasonable. The style of the story is communicative of figurative is denotation. Because the story tell about real life. And figurative language that is used in that story is simile. Because I found some examples sentences, such as;

- her legs crossed under her like a childs and her face smiling up at the couldless sky.

- She could hear the wind move through the tree tops like a long satified insuck of breath.

Very important event in this story is when grandmother was talking about her past experience to her grandchild. Because that made her grandchild funny and very entertaint.

The plot summary of the story; O’Connor,s story is told by a third person narrator, but the focus is on the grandmother’s prespective of events. Eventhough she complain that she would rather go to Tennessee than Florida to vocation.
