I think the character of the grandmother is good woman. She has good character, because she is very love her family especially her grandchild. She always share her experince with them and play together everytime. Moreover, she tried to relize The Misfit from his mistake and relize it. So that he can be a good man like ago because she believe with the Missfit. Although all people considered him a criminal but she alawys tried to make him realize.
The story happen in Tennessee. I lke this setting because according to story, there are very interesting view of the scienery stone mountain, the blue granite in some places came up to both sides of the highway; the briliant red clay bank slightly streaked with the purple; and the various crops that made rows of the green lack on the ground. The trees were full of silver white sun lights and the neanest of them sparkled.
The story tell about good things. Because in this story, grandmother invited the Missfit and admit all of his mistaken. And forget it to start new life, so he can be agood man like that she believe.
The story is reasonable. The style of the story is communicative of figurative is denotation. Because the story tell about real life. And figurative language that is used in that story is simile. Because I found some examples sentences, such as;
- her legs crossed under her like a childs and her face smiling up at the couldless sky.
- She could hear the wind move through the tree tops like a long satified insuck of breath.
Very important event in this story is when grandmother was talking about her past experience to her grandchild. Because that made her grandchild funny and very entertaint.
